Frustrated with the lack of innovation in the search and selection industry, Mark analysed his own experiences as well as utilising customer insight and market research and formulated a clear view of what he wanted to do differently. This was the seed from which Charles Warwick grew.

Mark trained with a national recruitment PLC in the late 90’s, and learnt as much about how not to do recruitment as how to do it well. Building his career working within independent and boutique firms, Mark has developed a methodology and approach that redefines the executive recruiting experience through the use of market data, analytics, and consistent and candid communication with clients and candidates.

He has an exceptional skill set, based on how to identify, attract and hire the best talent for every, individual position. His sharp insight into the minds of busy, time-poor business leaders and HR professionals means he has become adept at quickly providing a sophisticated, reliable, and trusted service which leads to long-lasting business relationships.

Over the last 20 years, Mark has spent time recruiting nationally, as well as within the Yorkshire and North East region, successfully working with PLC’s, SME’s, Family Businesses and PE/VC backed companies. He has been on the front line of the “war for talent” for over a decade.
